You can access our website and the public part of the web forum without disclosing personal data. If you volunteer
information we do not use this to track your activities or use it to target advertising in any way. Should you wish to
register in order to gain further access to the web forum we will record the details you provide during registration in
order maintain such extra access, but, you will have control of what information is publicly displayed about yourself.
Other users may collect or store any publicly displayed information.
Our website may use third party payment collection agencies, which may collect data in relation to making a payment
to GLASS. GLASS has no control over the data required or the processes of these agencies, nor does GLASS have
access to your payment information other than the amount you have paid to us.
Data Collection, Purpose and Use
We collect the personal data that you provide while using our services or seeking to join the association.This information is stored in a secure database and used to administer the membership functions of the association.
We will not disclose your personal data to any other bodies or organisations unless the disclosure is required by law, with the exception of supplying a list of names and addresses to authorised distributors of GLASS publications
If we wanted to use your personal data for a new purpose, we will offer you the means to consent to, or decline, any such new use.
We do not knowingly collect any personal data from or about children.
We cannot give visitors to our Web site the option of using a secure transmission method to send us their personal data at this time, although any payment agencies that the association may use to receive payment are required to provide a secure transmission method, for all financial data.
We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from: unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure and unauthorised modification
All our members and data processors, who have access to, or are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of all personal data.

We will provide you with a readable copy of all the personal data which we keep about you, within 3-6 weeks, although
we will require proof of your identity before doing so.
We will provide the information without any charge if you are a member and do not require a hard copy of the data. If
you are not a member of GLASS or require a hard copy of the data held on you we may make a charge for providing
the information in the format you require.
If the information we hold is wrong or incomplete, you may have the data ; erased, rectified or amended as necessary.
We do allow you to challenge our decisions and will not refuse to provide you with a copy of your personal data.
